Pending station in detail

Pending MRT station in Singapore — Bukit Panjang LRT (BP8)
BP8

Pending sits directly opposite Bukit Panjang Community Club, one stop further round the loop from Petir on Service B, and serves a tight grid of HDB blocks with a mosque, Masjid Al-Iman, a short walk beyond the station. There isn't much reason to get off here unless you live nearby or are visiting the community club for an event or class — it's one of the quieter stops on the loop, without a mall, market or park attached directly to it. The name comes from the Malay word for a type of waist buckle, a small piece of local trivia more interesting than the station itself.
