Senja station in detail

Senja, whose name means dusk or twilight in Malay, is the last stop before the loop closes back at Bukit Panjang, and it's one of the more useful ones on the line — a short walk gets you to the edge of Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, and Bukit Panjang Neighbourhood 5 Park, built around Pang Sua Pond's floating wetland, sits right by Senja-Cashew Community Club nearby. One stop on the LRT puts you at Bukit Panjang town centre for Hillion Mall, Bukit Panjang Plaza and Junction 10, plus the Downtown Line via the out-of-station interchange. For anyone staying near the reserve's edge, this is usually the most convenient station on the whole loop.

One stop from here on Service A reaches Bukit Panjang, with its malls and the Downtown Line — it's often quicker to walk the platform-to-platform distance yourself than to wait if a train has just left.
