Circle Line (CCL)
A closed loop since 12 July 2026 · 33 stations · 39 km · about 75 minutes for a full circuit
The CCL at a glance
The Circle Line (CCL) is one of the six MRT lines in Singapore. It is run by SMRT Trains, it has 33 stations over 39 km, and it opened on 28 May 2009 (the loop was closed on 12 July 2026).
On 12 July 2026 the Circle Line finally became a circle. The opening of Stage 6 — Keppel, Cantonment and Prince Edward Road — joined HarbourFront back round to Marina Bay and closed the loop, 17 years after the first section opened in 2009. The line now has 33 stations over 39 km and touches every other MRT line in the network, which makes it the great short-cut: instead of riding into the city centre to change, you can go round the edge. The three stations on the old Marina Bay branch have been renumbered as part of the loop — Bayfront is now CC34 and Marina Bay is CC33.
All 33 stations on the CCL
Gold rings mark the interchanges. Tap any station for its exits, what is nearby, connections and travel times.
Trains run in both directions round the loop, plus services along the Dhoby Ghaut spur which terminate at Prince Edward Road; if you need to swap between the spur and the other direction of the loop, change at Promenade. The loop also hides a secret: Bukit Brown (CC18), a fully built station between Caldecott and Botanic Gardens that has never opened. Your train runs straight through it — look out of the window and you will see the platform lights go by.
Travel times and fares from Dhoby Ghaut

Where you can change from the CCL
Changing lines is free: the fare is worked out from the distance of your whole journey, not from how many trains you take.
CCL times and fares
First and last train times are set per station and per direction, not for the whole network: first trains leave the termini between about 05:00 and 05:30, and the last trains leave between about 23:15 and 00:15. There are no single-trip tickets: tap in and out with a card. See the operating hours and fares.
