Napier station in detail

Napier opened on 13 November 2022 at the junction of Napier Road, Holland Road and Cluny Road, in the well-heeled Tanglin district, and its main job is getting visitors to the southern gate of the Singapore Botanic Gardens without a bus ride. Exit 1 leads directly to Tanglin Gate, roughly 100 metres from the platform — one of the shortest station-to-attraction walks on the whole network, and handy for reaching the National Orchid Garden inside. The other exit serves Gleneagles Hospital and the private housing of the Tanglin area. It's also a reasonable way in to Dempsey Hill, the former British army barracks turned restaurant-and-bar enclave a walk or one bus stop further along Minden Road.
