Lentor station in detail

Lentor opened on 28 August 2021, part of the TEL2 stretch that first brought the line into the north of the island, and it has become the busiest construction site above ground of any TEL2 station since. The area was farmland and low-rise housing until a string of new condominium launches — Lentor Modern, Lentor Mansion, Hillock Green and others — turned Lentor Drive into a working example of a transit-oriented town being built in real time. Lentor Modern's shopping mall sits directly above the station, reachable within a couple of minutes of the platform, and the small hill of Lentor Hillock Park is a short stroll further on. For now this is a station to watch rather than a finished destination, changing month by month as the estate around it fills in.
