Great World station in detail

Great World opened on 13 November 2022 under River Valley Green, with three entrances connecting straight into Great World City, the shopping mall that gives the station its name. It sits in a genuinely central pocket of Singapore, between Orchard Road and the Singapore River, with Robertson Quay's riverside restaurants and bars around a five-minute walk from Exit 1 across the Jiak Kim Bridge. The area is largely residential — condominiums such as Grand Copthorne Waterfront, River Green and The Trillium surround the station — but the mall itself covers most everyday needs, with a cinema, supermarket and a wide spread of dining, making Great World a practical, well-connected place to be based without the crowds of Orchard proper.
