Havelock station in detail

Havelock opened on 13 November 2022 beneath Zion Road, at the junction with Havelock Road, in the Bukit Merah area just south-west of the Singapore River. Its best-known neighbour is Zion Riverside Food Centre, a well-regarded hawker centre a short walk from the station, alongside Valley Point shopping mall for everyday errands. Exit 4 opens onto Havelock Road close to the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, putting the river a few minutes further on foot. The area is mostly older housing and newer condominium developments rather than a tourist hub, but its position — one stop from Great World, two from Outram Park's line interchanges — makes it a handy, quieter place to be based near the city centre.
