Shenton Way station in detail

Shenton Way opened on 13 November 2022 beneath Park Street, in the heart of the Central Business District, serving the office towers of Marina One, Asia Square, One Raffles Quay, V on Shenton and OUE Downtown rather than any single tourist attraction. Built with two platforms stacked one above the other because of the tight space between existing buildings, it's a practical, weekday-driven station — busiest by far at the morning and evening commute. It sits within easy walking distance of both Downtown station on the Downtown Line and Tanjong Pagar on the East West Line, and it's a short ride from here into Maxwell and Chinatown to the north-west or on to Marina Bay and Gardens by the Bay heading east.

Shenton Way — frequently asked questions
Shenton Way is served only by the Thomson-East Coast Line, coded TE19, between Maxwell and Marina Bay. Trains run underground in both directions from about 05:30 until around midnight, roughly every few minutes.
Not directly, but Downtown station on the Downtown Line and Tanjong Pagar on the East West Line are each within a short walk, so changing lines just takes a few extra minutes on foot.
Not within a comfortable walk. Ride one stop to Marina Bay (NS27/CC33/TE20) or continue to Gardens by the Bay for that side of the bay and the resort’s attractions on foot.
