It sits beneath Jewel Changi Airport and provides direct access to Terminals 2 and 3, with Terminal 1 reached via the free Skytrain and Terminal 4 by shuttle bus. Because the branch is a shuttle running only between Tanah Merah, Expo and Changi Airport, travellers arriving from the city always change trains at Tanah Merah — there is no direct through-service from town.
