Tuas Link station in detail

Tuas Link is the westernmost station on the entire Singapore MRT network and the far terminus of the East West Line, roughly 85 minutes and 57 kilometres from Pasir Ris at the other end. Beyond the industrial estate that surrounds most of the Tuas stations, it is the practical rail gateway to the Tuas Checkpoint for travellers crossing into Johor, Malaysia, and to the RWS-operated Tuas Megaport development further south. Trains terminate and reverse here, so boarding at this end typically guarantees a seat for the long ride east.
