Bugis station in detail

Bugis is one of the busiest interchanges in the city centre, where the East West Line meets the Downtown Line beneath the shopping streets of Bugis Street and Bugis Junction. The station opens directly into Bugis Junction's air-conditioned shopping mall and is a short walk from Bugis Street market, the Sultan Mosque and the Kampong Glam heritage district. It is a natural base for visitors, combining shopping, street food and heritage sightseeing within a few minutes of the platforms, and it stays busy well into the evening.
Changing lines here is free. You stay inside the paid area and the fare is worked out once, from the distance of your whole journey.
