Lavender station in detail

Lavender MRT station in Singapore — East West Line (EW11)
EW11

Lavender sits on the eastern edge of the city centre, close to the Kallang River and within walking distance of the Jalan Besar and Little India districts. It is best known locally for its cluster of Chinese vegetarian and Teochew restaurants near the station, as well as being a stop for City Square Mall, Singapore's first eco-mall, a short walk to the north. The area has a mix of older shophouses and newer condominiums, and it is generally quieter than the stations either side of it in the city core.
