Boon Lay station in detail

Boon Lay is the transfer point for the Boon Lay branch, a spur of the East West Line built to serve the Jurong industrial estate, and it also hosts one of the network's larger bus interchanges. It is the closest MRT station to Jurong Point, one of the largest suburban malls in Singapore, and to the Nanyang Technological University campus via a dedicated shuttle-style bus connection. Expect a steady flow of students, factory and port workers, and shoppers heading to Jurong Point, giving the station one of the more varied crowds along the western stretch of the line.
