Yew Tee station in detail

Yew Tee MRT station in Singapore — North South Line (NS5)
NS5

Yew Tee is a small, purely residential station between Choa Chu Kang and Kranji, built with more retail space than its size might suggest because planners expected the surrounding towns to grow quickly. That bet paid off: Yew Tee Point and Yew Tee Square, two low-rise malls facing each other across the road, now anchor a busy neighbourhood centre around the station's four exits. Unity Secondary School and Yew Tee Primary School are both close by, so the morning and after-school periods are noticeably busier than the rest of the day. There is no interchange here — Yew Tee sits on the North South Line only, roughly halfway between the western towns and the Causeway.
