Prince Edward Road station in detail

Prince Edward Road MRT station in Singapore — Circle Line (CC32)
CC32

Prince Edward Road is the newest of the Circle Line's three Stage 6 stations, opened on 12 July 2026 alongside Keppel and Cantonment. It sits at the southern edge of the Shenton Way office district, giving the area's banks, law firms and shipping companies a direct MRT stop for the first time rather than a long walk from Tanjong Pagar or Downtown. The station is also the terminus for the short spur service that runs from Dhoby Ghaut, so not every Circle Line train that reaches Prince Edward Road continues round the rest of the loop — check the destination display before boarding if you need to keep going. As with the other two new stations, the surrounding streets are still largely business premises rather than shops or dining, reflecting the office-district character of the area it serves.
