Cove station in detail

Cove is the first stop on the East Loop out of Punggol, named after its Residents' Committee zone, and it serves the HDB blocks nearest the interchange on this side of the estate. Despite the evocative name, it isn't the closest station to Punggol Waterway Park's waterfront stretches — that distinction goes to Damai, on the far side of the loop — so this is a fairly ordinary residential stop rather than a scenic one. It's only one stop out from Punggol, and because the East Loop runs in a single direction, the train ride back means going the long way round through the other six stations; most people in a hurry just walk the short distance back instead.

Cove — frequently asked questions
The Punggol LRT East Loop (PE1), the first stop out from Punggol (NE17/PTC), where you can transfer free within the paid area to the North East Line, a short ride from the rest of the loop.
Not directly — Damai, at the far end of the East Loop, is the closer stop for the waterway’s Nature Cove zone, despite the similar name, so plan the trip accordingly.
By train, the East Loop continues one direction through the other six stations before returning, so it’s often faster to walk the short distance back to Punggol directly.
