Bedok North station in detail

Bedok North sits along Bedok North Road, near a Pan-Island Expressway flyover and Bedok Town Park, serving the HDB estates of Bedok North and Damai. Damai Primary School is right by the station, and an integrated hospital planned for the area will eventually add a major new reason to get off here. For now the surroundings are residential and unhurried: void-deck shops, a wet market and the usual spread of coffee shops rather than malls. It is also the closest existing Downtown Line station to Xilin, the new infill stop under testing one stop further east, due to open in the second half of 2026 as the line extends towards Sungei Bedok.
