Kaki Bukit station in detail

Kaki Bukit is another of the Downtown Line's industrial stops, serving Kaki Bukit Techpark and the surrounding light-industrial estate on the eastern side of the island. Warehouses, small manufacturers and vehicle workshops fill the streets around the station, with residential estates further out towards Bedok and Eunos. Like Ubi one stop away, it is used almost entirely by people working in the estate rather than by visitors, and the area empties out noticeably on weekends. Its main practical value to a visitor is as a quick, direct link if you happen to have business here — before this stretch of the line opened in October 2017, the area relied on buses along Kaki Bukit Avenue and Ubi Avenue.

Facilities at Kaki Bukit
There are very few food options right at Kaki Bukit itself — most workers head one stop to Ubi or further to Bedok North for a proper meal, so plan lunch accordingly if you're spending the day here.

Kaki Bukit — frequently asked questions
Kaki Bukit Techpark and a wider light-industrial estate of warehouses, workshops and small manufacturers, rather than shops or housing at the exits — most passengers here are commuting to work.
It opened on 21 October 2017 as part of Downtown Line Stage 3, giving the surrounding industrial estate a direct rail link for the first time.
Very little right at the exits — most people head one stop to Ubi or further to Bedok North, which has a proper hawker centre and market.
