Ranggung station in detail

Ranggung, named after a species of stork once seen along the shoreline in this part of Singapore, is the last stop on the East Loop before the line curves back into Sengkang — so if you're heading to the interchange, this is about as close as the loop gets without arriving. It's another quiet residential station, serving HDB blocks with a coffee shop and the usual small parade of neighbourhood shops, nothing more. The upside of being last on the loop is the return trip: from here it's a single stop back to Sengkang, faster than from any other East Loop station.
