Fernvale MRT station
SK LRT · SW5
Fernvale station in detail

Fernvale gives its name to the wider precinct and sits close to Seletar Mall, which opened in November 2014 with a full run of chain retail, a supermarket and a cinema — easily the most substantial shopping on the West Loop. The station was originally intended to be built into a commercial building directly, though it ended up standing apart from the mall by a short walk instead. It's the fifth stop out from Sengkang, close to the loop's midpoint, which means the ride out and the ride back cover similar distances rather than one being a clear shortcut over the other.
