Kupang station in detail
Kupang, whose name means mussel in Malay, was the last of the original West Loop stations to open, arriving in 2015 once new residential developments in the area were ready for it. It's a fairly plain stop even by the standards of this line — mostly HDB blocks and the flats built specifically around the station once it was confirmed — with a coffee shop and small parade of shops rather than anything larger. It is three stops out from Sengkang, and as West Loop trains run in both directions you can take whichever direction is shorter on the way back.

Facilities at Kupang
Kupang opened years after the rest of the West Loop, once the surrounding flats were built, so don't expect an older, more established shopping strip here — it's newer and more residential than stations like Fernvale or Thanggam further round.
