Coral Edge station in detail

Coral Edge, three stops out from Punggol, serves the residential precinct of the same name with a concourse on the level above the street, linked down by an overhead bridge across Punggol Field. It's a family-oriented stretch of HDB flats and playgrounds, landscaped with the same car-lite intent behind the whole LRT network — no resident here is meant to be more than about 300 metres from a station. There isn't a mall or waterway view at this particular stop, just quiet blocks, a coffee shop, and a station built to move people rather than entertain them.
