Teck Lee station in detail

Teck Lee has an odd history: the station was built along with the rest of the West Loop back in the mid-2000s but stood closed and unused for the best part of two decades, waiting for the surrounding development to catch up. It finally opened on 15 August 2024, timed to serve the Punggol Digital District and the new Punggol campus of the Singapore Institute of Technology, reached via a covered linkway through Campus Boulevard. The district's main gateway is actually Punggol Coast MRT station on the North East Line, a stop beyond this network, but Teck Lee is the closer walk for anyone coming from elsewhere on the LRT loop.
