Khatib station in detail

Khatib MRT station in Singapore — North South Line (NS14)
NS14

Khatib is an elevated station at the quieter, northern edge of Yishun, with far less commercial development around it than its neighbours. The name comes from Sungei Khatib Bongsu, a river that once ran through the area, and today the Khatib Bongsu Park Connector traces roughly the same route from just outside the station towards Yishun Park and the mangroves beyond. HomeTeamNS Khatib, a recreation clubhouse with pools and food outlets, is one of the few real destinations within easy walking distance. For shopping, a hospital or a cinema, most residents head one stop south to Yishun instead.
