Braddell station in detail

Braddell is one of the quieter stations on the line, without a mall or bus interchange of its own, sitting beneath the junction of Lorong 1 and Lorong 2 Toa Payoh in the northern part of Toa Payoh New Town. Newer condominiums such as Trevista, Gem Residences and Orie have gone up within walking distance in recent years, alongside older HDB blocks, and Beatty Secondary School and CHIJ Secondary Toa Payoh are both close by, making this station one of the busiest for school traffic on the line despite its low-key surroundings. For a proper shopping trip or Toa Payoh Town Park, most residents continue one stop to Toa Payoh itself.
